Thanks for your heart-felt sharing. God has chosen a path for us missionaries that has too many "good-bye signs" along the way. That makes for too many good-bye sighs. I've been there. It's not easy. But then I think: one day I get to say good-bye to good-byes! And get welcomed to a place I will never leave.
Cry. Hope. Rest. Invite. Sing. Trust. I know those aren’t the clinical stages of grief, but I feel like that’s how they play out practically for a follower of Jesus. (And they make a wonderful acronym.) As soon as I saw the title, I didn’t have to look at the author; I know my sister’s voice! I love you so much. Thank you for writing this beautiful story of hope and perseverance. I’m sharing it with a friend who needs it today.
